Become Part Of Our Family
We pride ourselves at Sprouts on honoring the whole child. We give the children room to explore and learn through the process of play and hands on nature based activities. Our daily rhythms are guided by the seasons through seasonal gardening activities, cultivating and harvesting from the gardens, seasonal nature based activities and seasonal art, craft, circle and games. This early learning method of connecting children to Gardening, Cooking, and Nature Based Education promotes the benefits of; growing and eating fresh, local food, making healthy food choices, setting good habits, practicing the rhythm of seasons and creating an appreciation for the Earth.
Sprouts Early Learning Program is for children ages 3-6 years old.
The program is held from 9am-2pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
Our student to teacher ratio is 1 teacher to 6 children with 2 teacher on site at all times, 10-12 children per day.
All children must be able to participate in group activities and be fully potty trained.
We ask prospective families to be able to commit to Sprouts hours and the full school year, August-June. Our school calendar follows the Grass Valley School District from August-May. We do offer a special Summer Program, please contact us for more information.
We are not a Day Care and do not offer Day Care hours or after-care at this time.
